But this development holds a secret.

Beyond the development site door is a tree. A tree that may or may not be a portal to another world.

Welcome to the post-apocalyptic world of Meridia - in this dimension the locals have been scavenging artefacts in hopes of working out what went wrong with their world and what they can do to improve it.

Retro-Mega-Mas is a festival that takes place at the end of the year, when the days shorten and there's a chill in the air. To lighten the mood, Meridians decorate the space with their most treasured toys and tat. Ancient artefacts with absurd purposes; stuff for the sake of stuff! How novel!

The newest shipment of foraged goods is piled high on the trolley in the middle of the street.

Which toys can you spot?

Once you've soaked up the atmosphere, chatted to your fellow dimension-hoppers, and heard the Retro-bots sing a song, continue your journey into The Dream Factory.

If you step into The Sorting Office, you can see all sorts of artefacts being sorted and distributed.

Mind your head! Letters and postcards are travelling through the air. On the conveyor belt, it looks like the Meridians have been breaking open the crackers to find out what's inside.

But they're confused - why on earth would people put little bits of plastic inside? And why did people used to write such terrible jokes?

Here's a joke for you... What do they do at the teddy bear factory?

After some exploring, you may find yourself in an chilly blue cavern.

Here, excavations have uncovered strange totems lost deep in walls of ice.

But the locals can’t quite agree on what they were used for.

Did ancient Meridians use these totems to make and eat ice to survive? Did the totems make so much ice they formed the cave? One theory places these totems as proof that Meridian’s once evolved to have drawers in their tummies.
